A repair directory should be clear about the information it handles.
KitchenFix is a public Edmonton-first commercial kitchen equipment repair directory. Browsing provider listings, comparing profiles, using public phone links, and opening provider websites do not require a KitchenFix account. This working policy explains the limited data handling that may occur when you choose to use optional features.
Provider listing information
Public provider profiles are built from source-checked business information such as company name, service area, equipment coverage, phone number, and website. A listing does not imply an endorsement, certification, or customer rating unless KitchenFix explicitly displays a separate platform-verification status.
Optional review submissions
A signed-in visitor who submits a review provides the review text, rating, and account-linked submission details needed to operate the verification workflow. Reviews remain pending until verified and approved; KitchenFix does not publish fabricated, imported, or unverified reviews as platform feedback.
Quote requests and manual provider sharing
If you choose to request a quote, KitchenFix collects the contact details, equipment information, service area, urgency, and issue description you submit. KitchenFix uses this information to review the request and does not automatically book, dispatch, or route it. KitchenFix shares the request with the selected provider only after your checkbox consent and manual review. We retain the request and limited workflow notes to manage that review, respond to questions, and document whether it was forwarded or closed. Do not submit payment-card, health, account-password, or other unnecessary sensitive information in the form.
Planning and matching tools
Equipment descriptions entered into the repair planner or matching assistant are used to return a conservative information response. These tools do not diagnose equipment, dispatch technicians, or replace a written estimate from a service provider.
Analytics and advertising
KitchenFix may use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated site usage such as page visits and navigation. Advertising zones are currently labelled placeholders; Google AdSense is not yet enabled on this site. If advertising is activated, paid placements will be visually distinguished from organic directory content. Before serving personalized or cookie-based advertising where consent is required, KitchenFix will present the applicable consent choices and update this policy to reflect the final advertising configuration.
Your choices and requests
You can browse the directory without submitting a quote request, review, or equipment description. You can instead contact a provider through the published phone number or website link. For a question about a quote request, a published review, or information you provided directly to KitchenFix, email admin@kitchenfix.com. This policy is a working disclosure and should be reviewed against the final operating model before commercial operation.
